Confirm ad account in TikTok Business Center
Before you can safely share access with your agency, you need to confirm that the correct ad account is inside your TikTok Business Center. This step ensures the account is scoped properly so access can be shared by partner, not by individual email, giving you easier control and revocability.
01▸ Sign in at business.tiktok.com and open your TikTok Business Center.
02▸ Go to "Accounts" → "Advertiser accounts" → "Request Access".
03▸ Enter your Ad Account ID, set your access permission as an "Analyst", and click "Next".
Partner sharing through Business Center keeps asset access scoped and revocable, unlike user-invite access.
04▸ Confirm your ad account appears in "Advertiser accounts". You should see your ad account listed in "Advertiser accounts."
Add agency as partner and share ad account
Now that your ad account is in Business Center, you’ll add your agency as a partner and share the account with limited permissions. This keeps billing and admin control with you and makes access easy to revoke later.
01▸ Go to "Partners" and click "Add a partner".
02▸ Enter the Partner’s Business Center ID and click "Next".
03▸ Under "Ad Accounts", select the correct account.
04▸ Set permissions: Toggle OFF "Admin" and "Operator". Toggle ON "Analyst". Click "Assign".
05▸ Confirm status. You should see your ad account listed as "pending approval" under the partner’s shared assets. Your agency should receive a notification via email. Click "Accept". The invite approval can sometimes take a few minutes to update.
____06▸ Share your Ad Account ID with your agency. Hover your mouse over the profile photo on your top left to reveal the ID number. They can use it to confirm they’re working in the right account.
Confirm billing stays with you
Before your agency begins running campaigns, you need to make sure billing remains under your control. This protects your payment method and ensures you retain full financial oversight while still allowing your agency to manage ads.
