Recipe 005: Set up an A/B test tool on your website

🚀 Goal: Set up Google Optimize (the A/B testing tool) on your website, from scratch.
🤔 Why this is important: A/B Testing allows you to make careful data-driven changes to your user experience. Google Optimize is free and integrates perfectly with your existing Google Analytics property.
🗓️ When this is done: Only once per website.
👨 Who does this: The person responsible for Website Management, Analytics, Conversion Rate Optimization.
__⚠️Prerequisites or requirements: __Some of these steps require you to be running either WordPress, Squarespace, or Shopify. If you aren’t, you will have to perform similar instructions on your own CMS.

Step 1 - Add Google Tag Manager to your Website

Outcome: Google Tag Manager is installed on your website.

Step 2 - Add Google Analytics to your website

Outcome: Google Analytics is perfectly configured and accurately reporting on your website’s traffic.
Special instructions:
- You will only follow the SOP that applies to your specific platform (Shopify or Non-Shopify).
- If you already have Google Analytics on your website feel free to jump to the last two sections of SOP 009: Add Google Analytics 4 to a site (web version) where you verify the setup of your Google Analytics and adding your first Google Analytics view.
Step 3 - Set up Google Optimize on your website
