A Thank-You page is a page where the users are redirected to after successfully signing up as a lead.\r\n\r\nIf you don’t have a thank-you page for lead sign up, you may want to look at SOP 169 ([web version](https://members.clickminded.com/sop/169/)) on how to set up and track form submission events instead.\r\n\r\n## Set up a conversion event for each lead generated\r\n\r\n### 01▸ Login to your [Google Analytics account](https://analytics.google.com/).\r\n\r\n### 02▸ Click \"Admin\" from the bottom corner and select “Events”.\r\n\r\n\r\n### 03▸ Click “Create event”\r\n\r\n\r\n### 04▸ In the next screen, click “Create” to create a custom event.\r\n\r\n\r\n### 05▸ In the event configuration page, set the following details:\r\n\r\n__Custom event name__ — Use one of [Google’s recommended event names](https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9267735) for lead generation, in this case it’s “generate_lead”.\r\n\r\n__Matching conditions__:\r\n\r\nSet event_name — equals — Page_view\r\n\r\nSet page_location — contains — [URL of the thank-you page]\r\n\r\n### 06▸ Once completed, click “Create”.\r\n\r\n\r\n### 07▸ Click the “Cancel” button to head back to the events page.\r\n\r\n\r\n### 08▸ Head to the “Conversion” tab and click “New conversion event”.\r\n\r\n\r\n### 09▸ Set the new conversion the same (recommended) name that’s used in step 5. First, go ahead and install the [GA Debugger Chrome Extension](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-analytics-debugger/jnkmfdileelhofjcijamephohjechhna?hl=en).\r\n\r\n### 02▸ Once you’ve downloaded the extension, click on the plugin and make sure it is ON.\r\n\r\n\r\n### 03▸ Next, login to your [Google Analytics account](https://analytics.google.com/).\r\n\r\n### 04▸ Head to the “Configure” tab and select “DebugView”.\r\n\r\n\r\n### 05▸ In DebugView, you will be able to see all the events tracked in real time in Google Analytics 4.\r\n\r\n### 06▸ Now we can begin to test the lead tracking event that we’ve set up.
